Did you verify if you have a standard date set-up in Windows 10 which might control the default in Softplan? Softplan changed how the date output was in version I believe. The problem I had with that was in all of my old title blocks I had used the date, now that the date reads much longer and runs on outside the title block.

So when I open all of my old drawings and print them the date exceeds the title block. I always try to keep an eye out for that, but sometimes I miss it.

Yes, you want the short date. In case you haven't modified the title blocks before, you need to open the title block drawing file to change the stamp type.
